Cohn contacted her close friend Stephanie Troeller—a fellow Montclarion and a cartoonist who has worked with DC Comics, Hanna-Barbera and Warner Bros.—to ask if she wanted to collaborate. Eventually they brought to life Dad in Chad, a board game that follows the cartoon character Dad on his journey home to Chad, spanning Africa’s 54 countries. Along the way, players learn all about African geography, wildlife, culture and sports.

For the first time, NASA will launch two student missions on one sounding rocket!

A sounding rocket will launch carrying student experiments to suborbital space Wednesday, June 24, with a window opening at 5:30 a.m. EDT. A livestream will begin around 10 minutes before scheduled launch time on the Wallops YouTube channel.

The RockSat campaign is a combination of the RockOn and RockSat missions.

The Wallops Visitor Center will open its gates at 4:30 a.m. for launch viewing. The launch may be visible in the Wallops region, weather permitting. Stay tuned for a launch viewing map!

Mr. Meizys mailed 100 letters written by his AP Government students to their Congressmen and Senators, lobbying them with the information they learned from the class. We love that Mr. Meizys enhanced his student learning behind the AP exam by ensuring they would become active contributors of society and the government process!
