Earlier this year, our camp Kan Wozo in Haiti broight together incredible children, burn survivors for a week of laughter, healing and transformation.

From medical care to music, every moment was designed to help our survivors feel strong, seen, and celebrated.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. The healing continues, and so does the hope 🩵🇭🇹

Highlights from our incredibly succesful Camp Samba, 2023 in beautiful Sapucai-Mirim Brazil.
It is winter there now with refreshing temperatures in the 50s-70s

Our campers had so much fun enjoying outdoor activities, zip -lining ,boating , swimming, learning new musical instruments and performing on stage for all to behold. Imagine kids with terrible scars having the confidence to take off their hats and long sleeve shirts because here at Samba…They are not alone!

Samba and all of Burn Advocates Network’s camps let children who suffered burns to experience a newfound sense of joy, fun, and normalcy that all children should have. The smiles on our campers’ faces is worth all of the hard work our volunteer surgeons, nurses , therapists invested.

What an amazing experience for our 45 campers and 30 staff volunteers
