Today is Reva's 65th birthday. 🤍

Thirty-nine years ago, Reva lost her son Pesach. There was no support group to call, no one who could sit with her and say I know.

So she built one.

Every family NechamaComfort holds today is held because of what she decided in the worst week of her life.

I was so happy to spend time with my dear friend, Fay Welkowitz from Boca Raton, our dedicated case manager who works closely with grandparents.

Together, we are planning a special Zoom program that will explore the unique and often overlooked journey of grandparents when a family experiences pregnancy or infant loss—their grief, their role, and the ways they can support their loved ones while navigating their own emotions.

Today on Tisha B’Av, Reva was there to support a family during the burial of their baby.

Even as we mourn together as a collective people, we must also hold space for the agonizing, personal grief of infant loss.
