As Jews are being massacred in Israel our Paterson NJ goes full Jew hating terrorist.

During the council meeting last night, the Paterson, NJ Council voted to rename a portion of Main Street ‘Palestine Way’. Dozens of Palestinians came out in support of the resolution. The council voted 8-1 to approve the renaming.

Today is International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We must remember but remembering alone is not enough. If we want to honor the 6 million we must not make their same mistakes.

Please read Yad Yamin - Los Angeles' powerful plea below. There is an emotional need to want to ignore this harsh reality but we do so at our own peril.

"Irrespective of whether you blame the Right or the Left, most Jews agree that the America today is not one we recognize. The citizenry is at violent odds and the Government is crumbling. Antisemitism continues to skyrocket every year. WAKE UP. We have been here before. The Left and Right only agree on one thing: Blame the Jews!

If history has taught Jews anything it is that we need to see the signs and respond early. We are calling on you to do just that. Burying our heads gets us killed. We can't make that mistake again. It give us no pleasure to say it, but Jews, "we are (once again) sitting on a volcano" and need to act!

The signs are all there - AGAIN - make an exit plan NOW. Don't wait until it is too late. We will stay and fight but Jews need a back-up plan. ISRAEL IS CALLING! You should be calling Israel. Jews go home! "

We aren't big on petitions but at least it is something. We gotta hit this antisemititc Professor Ghassemi at the UC Merced
on all fronts and will support anyone who does.

Do not let them sweep this issue under the rug. Jew hatred MUST have consequences! Together with our partner organizations, we are calling on you, our supporters, to mobilize and demand action.

The Movement has 3 main demands.

1. We demand accountability and consequences for Professor Ghassemi.

2. We demand that UC Merced invite recognized experts to provide training on the protections afforded to Jewish students, as a minority community, under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

3. We demand that UC Merced adopt the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism.

Never underestimate the antisemitism under the surface. Here an unidentified teacher's assistant (and graduate student) at Johns Hopkins University is caught openly threatening to give Jewish students LOWER GRADES and spouting racism.
