Have you considered what your eternity will be like? Have you set down and done inventory of your life. Have you studied the word of God to see where you stand as of right now? I ask this because many of us are compulsive gamblers. Daily we gamble with our eternity by deciding to what is evil in Jesus eyes. We tell ourselves that we can repent later. We don't pay attention to the fact that our hearts are turning cold. We don't take notice that our character is that of Satan and not Jesus the Christ. Many of us would hear "Depart from me you worker of iniquity". Please understand that eternity is forever and ever. It does not end. Either we will be in the eternal joy of our Lord. Or, we will be in eternal terments with Satan.

What we think on is our hearts revealing us to us....

This is such a hard concept for us to digest often. Especially, for those of us who find ourselves thinking very none holy, and non biblical thoughts often. We like to believe that we are good people. Whether you are a believer or not, you like for others to think you are a good person as well. But the Bible is very clear in Proverbs 23:7 "For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he". Those things that we find ourselves hyper focused on through out the day. Those things that we find ourselves daydreaming about daily are revealing us to us. For example: if you find yourself replaying certain events over and over in your mind and wishing you had retaliated back then.
Your heart is revealing that you live in past experiences, you have unforgiveness and vengeance lurking in your heart. This is a tell tell sign that your refusing to grow and mature in some areas.
Now this is just one example. But what I am saying is that how we think, reveals our heart and heart reveals us. We have to pay attention to those thinks. Depending on if they are righteous thoughts or unrighteous thoughts; we must act. If they are unrighteous we must begin to cast them down, bring them into subjection to Christ Jesus by praying against those thoughts.
For example: Using the same frame of thought that was previously mentioned. Instead of allowing those thoughts to play out in your mind. Begin to pray, "Lord, I realized that I keep thinking on this event that happened to me. It greives me deeply and I find myself wishing I had retaliated or that I could revenge. But your word tells me that vegence is your and I am to love those that are my enemies. Help me to forgive. Help me to have a holy love for that person. I submit these imaginations to you.

That is how we battle against corrupt thought processes. This works for not only unforgiveness, retaliations and stagnation. But it works for sexual thoughts, or even thoughts that attempt to lure you back into addictive behaviors and any other perverse thinking. Of course the wording would be different and different scriptures would come into play. But, prayerfully you get the point. Do not ignore your thoughts. Do not normalize them when they are contradicting the Bible. Pay attention because your heart is revealing itself. It's time to take them before God and allow him to heal and purify you. Allow God to transform you by his holy Spirit. It is in our total submission to God that our heart is changed and find ourselves thinking on His goodness, and on His righteousness.

Matthew 8:3 Then Jesus put out his hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing, be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

In the previous scriptures this L***r covered man asked Jesus a familiar prayer point.

*"Lord, if you are willing."

How many of us have found ourselves crying out to God full of uncertainty. Knowing that God can heal, provide, deliver and restore. But not really being sure if it is his will concerning us. This L***r in a sense represents many of us. We feel unclean because our sins. We look back over past mistakes and instantly shame covers us. Some of us, it's current things that we can't seem to break free of. We find ourselves believing that our filt has disconnected us from our loving God. It can often make us feel so far away from the cross that we simply slump in the funk of our mess.
Are you willing to fix this for me Jesus? Do you want hear, do you hear from someone such as myself? These questions are often the very weight that smother out our prayer life. However I believe we should all be able to find comfort in this text. In a time where L***rs weren't allowed in civilization. It was against the law for them touch or intermingle with civilization. They were exiled from even their families. The reason being was that this sickness of leprosy was a flesh eating disease that was contagious. I imagine the look and smell of those infected was horrible. However, Jesus was not repulsed by this man. He not only heard this man, but he came close to this man. He not only came closed but he assured him. "I am willing". Three words that held so much weight. The I am that I am is willing. HALLELUJAH! Jesus, while touching this man, let him know that He was willing and then proceeded to cleanse this man. So I say to you my brother or sister. Jesus is willing and He shall cleanse you too. Whatever the infirmity, whatever the addiction, whatever the sun. No matter how vile. Jesus is willing to cleanse us and make us whole. Be encouraged.

1 Kings 11:4 For it was so, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned his heart after other gods: and his heart was not loyal to the Lord his God, as was the heart of his father David.

I was reading in the book of Kings today and something stuck out to me for the first time ever. 1 Kings 3:3 And Solomon loved the Lord; walking in the statues of his father David, except that he sacrificed and burned incense at the high places.

Biblically speaking, we know that the high places was where the pagans would go to worship their gods. And although Israel did not have an "sanctuary" per say, there was an appointment place for them to offer offerings and that was the tabernacle. So, it begs the question? Why were the people of God in the high places worshipping with the heathens? Yes, they were worshipping God. But, they were in rebellion while doing so. What was drawing them to a place that God had not called them to? Was it a sound? Was it the atmosphere? Was it a feeling? The Bible does not say why they were up there. It does make a point to say that Solomon loved God, and obeyed God just like David; except.... In the location that he decided to seek God and we can throw in the marriage as well. And for many years this didn't seem to bear any negative fruit in his walk with God. However, when we break the laws of God we rarely see the damage early on. It didn't seem to be a issue with him yoking himself to unbelievers. It didn't seem to be a issue with him going up the mountain to worship God.

Most of our issues is that we forget that our adversary the Devil is patient and crafty. He will never disclose to us just how bad the fall is going to be as we indulge in his bait. It's like being fed poison in small increments over time. We keep getting sicker but it's so subtle that we have no clue of the damage until it's too late. Just a little smoke, just a little drink, just a little gossip, just a little grudge. Until, one day our eternity is sealed. Just one more day/night of fornication. Just one more moment of being outside of God's will. That is the lie that we tell ourselves. Before long we don't even bother to lie to ourselves anymore because we're so desensitized to our subtle rebellion.

Whatever, Solomons reasonings were is unclear. But, what is clear is that what ever you allow close enough will eventually get on you and in you. He allowed pagan/occult practices to be close to his worship with God. He allowed pagan/occult worshippers to be close to his heart through marriage. Eventually, his hurt was turned completely from God. The thing is he most like said that "Nothing could turn his heart from God". And he most likely truly believed it. However, Satan talk 1/3 of angels who were in the presence of God out of their position. So, how hard would it be for him to turn a man's heart. Especially when that man is already in disobedience. Disobedience, is another open door that we rarely speak about. Especially when there is no repentance. Solomon started off make wrong decisions. And those wrong decisions cost him much.

Self evaluation time:
What are some subtle things in your life that you know you need to change? It could be physical sin, mental sin, or character flaws. Ask Holy Spirit to reveal those things to you if you are unsure. Then repent.

Let's talk about the danger of unforgiveness to our souls. In 2 Samuel chapters 13-18 read about Absalon, king David's son. Absalon was rightfully angry about the abuse that took place with his sister. However, he did something that the bible teaches us not to do. Be angry, but sin NOT! The bible lets us know that for two years he clearly held that resentment in. He never attempted to process through it and eventually it gave birth sin in his life. After two years he decided to murder his brother who had assaulted their sister. Now in this case he actually took a life. But, for us murder can look like slander or gossip. It can look like us rejoicing when harm come to a certain person(s). Or us meditating on/waiting for somebodies down fall. It can be our inability to say anything good about a person without bringing up something negative that they've done. Murder has many faces according to the word of God. What we can gather from these chapters is that unforgiveness is one of the open doors that ushers that sin in. Absalon's refusal to forgive made him feel like he was the only one righteous, it caused him to not only want revenge on his brother but to feel as if he could do better than his father, the king. As we can see, when we open the door so sin in our rebellion towards God many things can come walking through that door. Murder, pride, deception; etc. And it all has one goal. That his to produce death in us. If you read these chapters, you will see that unforgiveness led to both his physical and spiritual demise. He died a horrific death. And he died without the chance to repent. I encourage you to search your heart. Who or what are you refusing to forgive? Is it worth your soul being destroyed? Forgive them, forgive it, and repent.

Over the last few months I've been having an assortment of dreams. The short of them is that our Lord is coming back and his (Bride) church is not ready. One constant theme in each dream is that we do not love God like we say that we do. Our hearts are split between Him and the cares of this world.
I beg of y'all to begin to check your heart. Repent of your distractions and idols. Turn fully to God. This is the mercy of God, that we would be able to repent and cleave to Him
