Our Club members have been having an amazing time during our Summer Enrichment programming.

Recently, members got hands-on and creative by building their very own animal habitats! 🐪🌳 From the depths of the blue ocean to the sunny savanna and lush forests, they used felt, pipe cleaners, cotton balls, and plenty of imagination to design the perfect homes for their favorite animals.

We love seeing their creativity and STEM skills shine as they learn about different biomes. Check out the fantastic dioramas they put together with our amazing staff.

Our Claiborne County Club members are spreading joy and showing their appreciation in a big way! 🇺🇸💙
In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, our kids have been hard at work crafting heartfelt "Dear Hero" letters. These special messages will soon be displayed on the walls of Covenant Health Claiborne to honor the incredible, everyday heroes right here in our hometown.

We absolutely love our community partners and are so incredibly thankful for their continued support of our Clubs. It is through these strong local partnerships that we can continue to inspire and empower our youth. Together, we are building great futures.

Cookies, balloons, and big smiles! Our Clubs officially wrapped up an amazing school year with a sweet celebration and a super important lesson on staying safe this summer.

Before heading off for break, our members learned all the best tips for:

Our TNT Primary and Ellen Meyers Elementary Club members are leveling up! We’re celebrating their incredible growth by having them write letters to their future selves and get creative drawing their dream jobs.

From future doctors to artists, we know that if you can visualize your dreams, you can make them happen.

We are so incredibly proud of the ways our members are preparing for their next chapter while honoring all the hard work from their last!

How do you sum up 20 years of impact? For Bruce Crabtree, you count it in perfect 3-star club ratings, millions of meals served to our youth, and countless times he stepped up to help our staff succeed.

Bruce is retiring on June 30th, and we couldn't be more grateful for his years of service.

Our members at the TNT and Ellen Meyers Elementary Clubs recently became junior meteorologists with an awesome STEM activity: DIY Cloud Viewers.

By observing different cloud types outside, our Club kids got hands-on experience learning all about:
🌦️ Weather forecasting
💧 The water cycle
🔬 Atmospheric science

The best part? The kids were absolutely thrilled to take their viewers home so they can keep tracking the skies and making new observations every time the weather changes. We have some brilliant future scientists in the making.

We are incredibly proud of our amazing Club intern, Makayla Turner, who recently did a phenomenal job representing BGCTNV alongside Gov. Bill Lee!

Makayla is a true champion for our youth. Here is just a glimpse of why we appreciate her so much:
💙Fierce Advocate: She is always actively looking for ways to speak out, advocate, and elevate the voices of our Club members.
🏆 Youth of the Year Finalist: Her dedication, character, and leadership earned her a well-deserved spot as one of our standout finalists.
💙 Community Leader: Her daily work makes a massive, lasting impact on our kids and the broader community.

Our Ellen Myers Elementary Club members are officially weather experts. We wrapped up our weather studies, and we concluded the unit in the sweetest way possible: with rainbows. 🌈

Our amazing Club members learned the fascinating science behind the skies. They can now explain that a rainbow is a colorful archway formed by light bending through water—specifically caused by the reflection, refraction, and dispersion of sunlight within tiny raindrops.

To celebrate all their hard work and new meteorological knowledge, the kids created their very own "sweet rainbows" using Froot Loops and fluffy marshmallow clouds to take home and enjoy.

We are so proud of these brilliant young scientists.
