We are growing our Resource Development team! Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley (BGCTNV) is currently seeking an Individual Giving Officer to help increase philanthropic support for our mission.

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Resource Development, this role is critical to our growth. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of individual donors and prospects, utilizing moves management strategies to deepen engagement, and securing annual, leadership, and major gifts.

Key Qualifications:
🔹 Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of successful experience in major gift or individual fundraising.
🔹 Proven track record in developing personalized cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
🔹 Strong working knowledge of CRM systems (Raiser's Edge experience is a plus!).
🔹 Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Brushing up on healthy habits! 🦷✨

Our TNT Elementary Club members recently dove into why a great oral hygiene routine is so important for protecting their overall health (and keeping those smiles bright for years to come!).

A huge thank you to Colgate for generously providing brand-new toothbrushes for our kids. To celebrate, our members got creative and made their own adorable "Miss Tooth" crafts.

Every single smile is a vital part of our Club family.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley is looking for a dynamic Donor Prospect and Database Manager to join our team in Knoxville.

In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our Resource Development team—using your database expertise and research skills to help us secure the funding needed to ignite greatness in the youth we serve. If you love turning data into actionable strategies and want your work to have a direct community impact, we want to hear from you!

What you’ll do:
• Identify and research prospective donors to build healthy fundraising pipelines.
• Manage and maintain our Raiser’s Edge / RE NXT database.
• Create automated workflows and generate key performance dashboards.
• Partner with our leadership team to advance our strategic mission.

What you need:
• A 4-year degree.
• 3-5 years of relevant CRM experience (Raiser's Edge/RE NXT preferred) and wealth database research.

Our East Tennessee teens took on D.C.! 🏛️ They officially represented BGCTNV at the 2026 Summit for America's Youth, an incredible leadership and advocacy experience where young people met with lawmakers, shared the issues impacting our local communities, and put their voices into action.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of the Tennessee Valley, we believe every young person deserves the opportunity to lead. Through experiences like the Summit, our Club teens built confidence, strengthened their leadership skills, and learned how to create positive change across the six counties we serve.

It was amazing to watch these inspiring young leaders represent our Clubs, the Tennessee Valley, and the future they’re helping shape.

Greetings from the Nation’s Capital.

Our BGCTNV teens arrived in Washington, D.C. on Sunday afternoon and immediately jumped into connecting with amazing Club members from all across the country! 🇺🇸🤝

Yesterday was an absolutely packed day of growth and inspiration:
🎙️ Leadership Lessons: We spent the bulk of the day listening to incredible keynote speakers and Club Alumni discuss what true leadership looks like.
💼 Career Building: Our members crushed it at the Career Fair! They networked with employers and professionals in public service, government, and advocacy to explore exciting pathways for life after high school.
💡 Inspiring Innovation: We capped off the night at the TLC (Think Learn Create) Fair, getting totally inspired by seeing how youth are driving real, positive change in their local communities.

We are so incredibly proud of our future leaders and can't wait to see what they do next. Stay tuned for more updates from our trip!

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸✨

Our TNT Club members have been getting into the patriotic spirit by crafting their very own American flags to celebrate our country's big semiquincentennial!

📜 A little history: Did you know the first official American flag was adopted by the Continental Congress on June 14, 1777? The original resolution stated that the 13 white stars on a blue field should represent a "new constellation" in the sky!

🎨 Why we love this: Hands-on activities like this are about more than just fun crafts. Creating national symbols helps our Club members develop fine motor skills and creative expression, while also fostering a sense of civic pride, belonging, and a deeper connection to our shared history.

We are so proud of the creativity shining at our TNT Club!

Out of this world! 🚀✨🔭

Our TNT Club members are exploring the cosmos right here at BGCTNV! As part of our summer enrichment programming, these young astronauts got hands-on and created their very own "galaxies in a bottle."

From swirling nebulas to glittering stars, the kids had a blast mixing up their colorful, cosmic creations. Just look at those proud smiles! Learning about space has never been this much fun.
