We are looking for talented cooks to join us at this year’s Taylorville Chillifest Chili Cook-Offs! Whether you want to dominate one event or test your skills at both, we want you in the kitchen!!!
Ready to compete? Here's how to join the competition...
🌶️Membership & Registration: You must be an active ICS member. The cost is $10.00. per cook off OR $45.00 for unlimited cookoffs for the year. Once you're registered, sign up for your cook-off spot through the ICS Chili, Inc. Registration.
🌶️The Rules of the Pot:
👍Scratch Cooking Only: All chili must be prepared and cooked on-site the day of the event. No pre-marinating or pre-cooking allowed!
👍The Clock: You’ll have a 3 to 4-hour cooking window to perfect your masterpiece.
👍Prep On-Site: All chopping and prep work must happen at the event during the designated time.
👍Judging: When it’s time for the judges to taste your creation, ensure you submit exactly 32 oz of chili in the official ICS-provided judging cup.
