EST Jason Engels and the entire staff and officers of the Central South Carpenters congratulate the following elite member leaders who recently completed 212 Journeymen: Next Level UBC Leaders training. Open only to those who are already journeymen leaders, this training focuses on constructing and building UBC relationships on the job site. Participants learn business finance cause and effect, emotional intelligence for UBC Leaders, adult learning principles, and how to manage healthy conflict.

Sisters In The Brotherhood hosted an Open House Health Fair for Georgia Pacific employees and the general public at the Carpenters Local Union 2086 Hall in Taylorsville, MS on Tuesday December 10, 2019. Free blood pressure and blood glucose checks were performed by Ms Shanell Williamson, a Community Health Worker for Southeast Mississippi Rural Health Initiative. Refreshments and door prizes were available for all that attended. “A lot of good life saving information was provided and our plan is to host more of these type events for our co-workers and community in the near future.” stated Local Union 2086 President Marcus McLaurin.
