It’s hot out there!
Shelter Taylor, formerly Taylor CAN, with assistance from St James Episcopal Church is opening a cooling center at St James for the next few weeks. Open Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 10am-5pm with water and snacks.
We need volunteers and donations of water, fruit and healthy snacks.
Most urgent need is volunteers! If you can volunteer, email the day, date and time period to [email protected]. Or text 737-306-4574. Church has internet and you can come and work at the church.
Responsibilities are putting out water and snacks.
Donations can be delivered during open hours or cash donations can be made via Paypal at donate at taylorcan.org
The Taylor Center for Assistance and Navigation is looking for volunteers to help with the upcoming Place-In-Time (PIT) Count, an important effort to document the needs of our unhoused neighbors here in Taylor. Are you ready to make a difference?
