The UAW Health and Safety Department is offering free workplace health and safety training through grant funding provided by the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) Consultation Education and Training (CET) Program.

Open to all UAW members, these courses will be offered at Regional 1, 1A, and 1D offices throughout 2026.

LABOR DAY MARCH — MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2026

Hosted by the Metro-Detroit AFL-CIO

March begins promptly at 9:00 a.m.

UAW REGION 1A STAGING
Region 1A will stage beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Trumbull between Porter and Abbott.

Please wear a UAW shirt to the march.

MARCH ROUTE
The march will proceed down Michigan Avenue and conclude with a program at Roosevelt Park.

PARK & RIDE SHUTTLES
Solidarity House: 7:00–8:30 a.m.

Morning Drop-Off: Lafayette & 6th Street
Return Pickup: Bagley & 15th Street
Return Shuttles: 11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
