Michigan STATE Competition Info & Times!

‼️ATHLETES ABSOLUTELY CANNOT BE LATE TO THEIR ARRIVAL TIME! It is ABSOLUTELY CRUCIAL to be on time (15 mins early)!‼️
We start our warm up/stretching IMMEDIATELY after arrival time and go back to the practice room very shortly after warm up!
LEAVE WITH EXTRA EXTRA TIME
With security measures taking place at entry doors on top of construction and other things, it is going to take much longer to get into the event!
There is a bunch of construction in the area along with another large event happening the same weekend in the same area and with how big this event is, the traffic is going to be INSANE. Do not be late!! Being crazy early is better than being late!
Athletes must arrive completely ready! This means uniform on (vest, skirt, & bloomers), white tennis shoes, white no show socks, hair in a super high pony, hair bow in, and make-up on (optional)!
Athletes will receive their hair bow at your last practice. I am not responsible for forgotten bows (your athlete will have to compete without).
Hair for competition needs to be in a super high pony, directly on top of the head! Put the bow in over the pony tail. The bow should be sitting right on top of the head almost to the forehead. I will show an example of this at practice.
Make-up is up to the parent. If you want to apply your own blush, mascara, and/or lipstick at your own discretion. If lipstick is worn, preferably bright red ‘performance red’ lipstick! ONLY SILVER EYE GLITTER.
❗️No clips and no hair beads are allowed. Bobby pins are allowed.
‼️ABSOLUTELY NO Jewelry 🚫 not allowed! Please remove ALL jewelry - earrings (MUST BE REMOVED (can not have bandages over them), necklaces, bracelets, anklets, earrings, rings, AND HAIR BEADS!
This is a safety issue and the team will receive a safety deduction if someone on the team is wearing any jewelry.
—Athletes will need white no show socks and a pair of all white tennis shoes for competition. They can be any brand or style. *You can get white tennis shoes on Amazon, Walmart, Meijer, etc. We ask that they be mostly white and light weight. *The thinner the sole of the shoe the better for both the flyer and bases, it helps have a better grip on the shoe and doesn't hurt the base's hands.
Teams are in order of time not in numeral order - please pay attention to the division!
Meeting rooms;
GG = grand gallery (located on first floor)
GGO = grand gallery overlook (located on second floor)
RO = river overlook (located on second floor)
Spectator bands are purchased after you drop your athlete off to coaches!
Each person attending (not athletes) will have to purchase one. $9 per band for ages 6 and older. 5 and younger are free.
If you are attending both days (Saturday and Sunday) you will NOT need to purchase a band both days as long as the band is still on your wrist for day 2 (don't take it off)!
If you have more than one athlete in the program and they compete on different days - The non competing athlete will NOT need to purchase a band IF they are in uniform. If they come in regular clothes, they will need to purchase a band.
Triple check that you have everything before leaving for comp!
-Uniform (Vest, skirt/pants, black shorts, white tennis shoes, white no-show socks)

-Spirit gear (team t-shirts, signs, etc.)
