Bill Pickett Foundation Operation Christmas

With the year coming to a close, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated, wrapped gifts or played a role in making the 2025 Bill Pickett Operation Christmas a success. More than 400 local children benefited from the generosity of the community. Families received gifts and a Christmas dinner.

A special thank you to Cliff and Caitlin Olie. They provided the ideal workspace for Santa’s Workshop. As well as being excellent partners for the toy drive itself.

Thanks to Taylor Sporting Goods day 1 of pick ups was a HUGE success! We where able to pick up a donation from Toys for Tots, and a few from the Angel tree. We where also able to officially move in to our 2025 Santa's Workshop. (Details given soon)

If you are interested thrall applications open soon

It is that time of year again, Blue Santa is fixing to start shopping. If you are having a tough time in this economy we may be able to help you out. Blue Santa will be taking applications for those that may need a bit of help providing for your children this Christmas season. Applications may be picked up at city hall (8am to 4:30pm) on or after November 18th 2025 and must be turned back in by November 28th 2025. We try and provide items that the children ask for as well as items that are needed. The application is simple and straight forward and we ask that you print legibly and include sizes when asking for clothes or shoes. We have a 17 years of age cut off for those listed. If you seek help from another organization please do not apply here as well. We do ask that the children reside in the listed residence and are not just visiting.

Hello Everyone, it is that time of year! Time to get ready for the 2025 Operation Christmas. This year we are doing things a little different. If you, your family, or company would like to sponsor a child this year please reach out to us. We will only be accepting applications for the number of children we have sponsors for.

What it means to sponsor a child: you will get the age and gender of a child with their clothing sizes and likes/wants/need/wish. We ask that you purchase the child a minimum of 3 gifts to have to open for Christmas Day. You are welcome to do more if you like.

All gifts must be returned by December 15th (location TBA)
