Food drives make a huge impact for Fish and Loaves! Donations help us keep our shelves stocked for families and seniors in our community that are facing food insecurity.

Dedicated to Downriver's Concert for a Cause on Monday, August 31st at The Grecian Center will bring the community together to support more than 50 Downriver nonprofits and charities - all in one place.

Enjoy live music, food, local vendors, raffles and prizes while learning about and supporting organizations doing important work throughout Downriver.

Admission is only $5 and they are asking for guests to also bring a non-perishable item to support Fish & Loaves. We truly appreciate the support of the Downriver Community in our mission of "Ensuring No One Goes Hungry."

When you come to Concert for a Cause, don’t arrive empty-handed! Dedicated to Downriver is partnering with Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry for a food drive to help feed families throughout our community—and we need everyone’s help!

⏰ 5:00–9:00 PM
📍 The Grecian Center
16300 Dix Toledo Rd., Southgate, MI 48195

Please bring shelf-stable food items such as:

🥣 Cereal
🥜 Peanut butter
🥫 Canned vegetables, soup or beans
🍝 Pasta and other nonperishable foods

Donations can be dropped off at the Fish & Loaves truck at the front gate or at the Fish & Loaves vendor table inside the event.

🔥 OUR GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS FOOD DRIVE RECORD-BREAKING! Fish & Loaves will report the total weight of all donations collected, so every box, jar and can matters.

Connecting your Kroger Plus card to support Fish & Loaves is a fast and easy way to support the Pantry with no extra cost to you...because let's face it...groceries are already expensive enough!

After connecting your Kroger Plus card to Fish & Loaves, Kroger will donate a portion of your grocery bill to support the Pantry. Directions on how to link your card are included in the comments.

We had a group cancel and are looking for 6 more volunteers for our Fresh Market this Saturday. If you're able to help, please sign up using the link below.

This is a great opportunity to get some service hours in before school starts! Volunteers must be at least 11 years old and volunteers under 16 must have an adult volunteer with them.

Our partnership with Bottoms Up Diaper Bank - Grosse Ile, MI helps so many low income families in our community! We are so grateful for the support! These diaper donations help keep babies clean, dry, healthy and happy 😀

Fish & Loaves Board Member, Lindsay Dennis stopped bythe Pantry last week with a donation of 40 pounds of fresh produce on behalf of the Downriver West Kiwanis Commuity Garden and fellow gardens. So far this season, the group has donated 220 pounds of fresh produce to the pantry!

Thank you for sharing your time, gardening talents and harest to help local families access fresh and healthy produce!
