Monday was grab and go breakfast.
Tuesday was snack attack!

In accordance with KRS 160.345 the Scott High School Eagle Club is hosting nominations and election of the Site Based Decision Making Council (SBDM) parent representatives. A parent council member shall be a parent, stepparent, foster parent or legal guardian of a student attending the school during the council member's term of office.

NOMINATION DATES- April 27, 2026- May 3, 2026 (11:59 p.m.)

Nominations can be emailed to [email protected] between Monday April 27-May 4, 2026.

Include in the email:

● Subject line: "SBDM Parent Nomination."

● Body: Your name or nominee's name, address, and mobile number.

● Brief resume or self-bio (will be shared with voters).

● Attestation: I accept this nomination and hereby certify that I am eligible to serve on this council and meet all qualifications as described above.

ELECTION DATE- MAY 4, 2026 5:30-7:30

The election will be held in-person on school grounds on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 5:30-7:30p.m. A bio of each nominee will be made available.

Results will be tallied immediately by the Eagle Club President and reported to Principal Wolf within 24 hours of the vote.

Parent Members: KRS 160.345 (2) (b)1 states the parent members shall be elected by the parents of students pre-registered to attend the school during the term of office in an election conducted by the parent and teacher organization of the school or, if none exists, the largest organization of parents formed for this purpose. KRS 160.345 (2) (a) states the parent representatives on the council shall not be employees of the district or employee's relatives, nor shall they be a local board member or his/her spouse. None of the members shall have a conflict of interest pursuant to KRS Chapter 45A, except the salary paid to district employees.

We are still looking for 5-10 more field day volunteers. Please let us know if you are interested in helping.
Freshman and sophomores will be in the morning and juniors and seniors will be in the afternoon. This event cannot happen without volunteers. 😊

We are looking for volunteers for field day....
Field day (May 15) is quickly approaching and we are on the hunt for 20-25 volunteers for all day or half the day. Set up will be the same as last year with 2 classes in the morning and then the other 2 coming out around lunch til the end of the school day. Please let me know if you would like to help. You must have a current up-to-date background check on file with CO. Attached is the link if you need one. These do take at least 2 weeks so please complete them ASAP.
The kids loved this day last year but it is only possible with lots of help! Thank you!!
