Tawas Area Rotary Club The Tawas Area Rotary Club was formed in 2022. Rotary's motto: Service Above Self! It is a non-political and non-religious organization.

Rotary International is a humanitarian service organization that brings together business and professional leaders in order to provide community service, promote integrity, and advance goodwill, peace, and understanding in the world. The Tawas Area Rotary Club was formed in 2022 as a satellite of the Oscoda Rotary Club. We meet every first and third Tuesday of every month, 8 am, at Barnacle Bills.

We are actively inviting potential members, electing officers, and considering our charter projects. As a new club in the area, we are trying to create community awareness of the club and share with them the significant value and contributions that Rotary brings to the Tawas area, and the positive impacts that Rotary provides. Rotary is a global network of clubs that has been in place for more than 100 years, and we are excited to be standing up a local branch of this club.

ROTARY IN ACTION!
Tawas Area Rotary Club recently donated to East Tawas Friends of the Library $1500 to help them with their new project, an outdoor reading space AND supported Tawas Area Schools by sponsoring the refreshments at their upcoming FASFA night. WE LOVE OUR COMMUNITY!!
