✨ Volunteer Spotlight: Alexis Scanlon! ✨

We are so blessed to have Alexis on our LifeWise team! She has been with us from the very beginning, back when we were forming a Steering Committee to gauge interest and explore bringing LifeWise to the Keys.

Since then, Alexis has been an integral part of our board, spearheading community events, helping with social media, and leading our prayer team. Now, we are so grateful to have her serving as a volunteer in our classrooms, too!

Alexis is someone who faithfully and consistently shows up to serve both her church and our community. We are incredibly thankful for the time, heart, and energy she continues to pour into LifeWise and the students we serve.

Thank you, Alexis, for saying yes from the very beginning and continuing to serve so wholeheartedly! We are so grateful for you! ❤️

🎉 We are SO excited to be actively serving students at our first LifeWise Academy site in Monroe County, FL! 🎉

We are now enrolling K–5th grade students at PKS, and we’re dreaming BIG about what’s next!

Our goal is to establish a LifeWise site in Key Largo, but first, we need to fully fund and strengthen our PKS program. ❤️

Each LifeWise location needs 100 student sponsors to operate sustainably and serve students well. Right now, we have 43 recurring sponsors!

🎯 43 → 100 sponsored students. Let’s reach our goal in October!

For just $30 per month, you can sponsor a student and help make it possible for them to participate in LifeWise, grow in their faith, build meaningful relationships, and receive support from a caring community. I want to send a huge THANK YOU to the parents and students who have joined us for LifeWise over these first few weeks! ❤️

I especially want to recognize the courage it takes to be the “odd one out.” Each of these students—and their parents—took a huge leap of faith by trying something new and, in many cases, being the only student in their class participating.

🌟 Teacher Spotlight: Meet Erin! 🌟

Erin comes to us with more than 25 years of teaching experience and a whole lot of love for teaching kids about Jesus! We are so thrilled to have her on our LifeWise team. ❤️

Erin originally joined us as a volunteer, but it didn’t take long for her to step up and become one of our elementary teachers. After her very first day leading class, she told us she had so much fun—and that it made her miss teaching!

Well, Erin, you’re in luck! 😉 We’re just getting started, and you’ll have plenty of opportunities to teach, encourage, and pour into your LifeWise students.

We are so grateful for the experience, joy, and heart you bring to our team, Erin! We can’t wait to see all that God does through you. 🫶
