Coral Isles Church

Our Blessing of Banned Books on Sunday demonstrated Coral Isles Church's belief that it is important to demonstrate a Christian voice that opposes book bans and wholeheartedly affirms the freedom to read.
When people try to ban books, they are making decisions for others who may not hold the same beliefs they do. You can and should refuse to read books that you think are inappropriate to your faith or your children’s age. However, none of us are called to make that decision for anyone else.
Some of the books went home with worshipers and others will be distributed to the community.

This is our last week for the Heifer International collection. You can donate here: www.coralisleschurch.org, in Sunday's offering or through the church office.
Heifer's sharing concept requires that recipients pass on the gift of an animal's offspring. This creates a ripple effect that transforms donors, recipients, and communities.

What a great message from Dr. Wolf on Sunday! He reminded us that we are made in God's image and have more value than gold. We are called to render ourselves to God.
Join us next Sunday for our 10 AM worship service (live or on-line) to learn more.

Our annual Heifer International project is off to an amazing start - A generous donor has agreed to match our donations up to $1000! Please give on the website or by using an envelope at church.
Heifer International invests in small-scale farmers around the world, equipping them with the resources needed to build economically and environmentally sustainable businesses.

Church leaders gathered on Saturday with Rev. LaTrell to talk and dream about the future of Coral Isles Church. (Thank you, Rev. LaTrell!)
They affirmed our Vision Statement. Coral Isles Church is a community of faith where in God’s love ALL are accepted and honored for who they have been, embraced and affirmed for who they are and empowered and supported to be who they are called to be.
