So, we are still on for Sunday for the Meat on a Stick Fundraiser. The wind advisory is until 2:00 am on Sunday morning. We are under cover with the large pavilion and the fire pit is under cover too. And the PACC said we are good to go.
I will have rotisserie seasoning for the chicken and Montreal seasoning for the beef. If you want anything different for seasoning feel free to bring it. The pork will be marinated.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday!

Hi all

Just a reminder for our final summertime event.
We will be doing a hike at Massasoit State Park
We will meet Monday, August 24 at
6 o’clock at the front parking lot near the check-in

We will be doing a short hike and then meeting at Kevin‘s ice cream for a treat

Please don’t forget your six essentials

a first-aid kit, filled water bottle, flashlight, trail food, sun protection, and an emergency whistle

This is a short hike just be prepared as possible.

Save the Date! Cub Scout Pack 87 is having a Meat on a Stick Fundraiser on September 27th from 12:00 -4:00 at the PACC. Tickets will be available shortly. Our goal is to make it more affordable for the scouts. We need to raise funds to do so. This fundraiser will help run the Pack for the scouting year without putting extra burden on the parents.
Let me know if you’d like to purchase some tickets. Please consider any donations or raffle baskets to help out the Pack. Thank you so much for your support.

Hey all

Just a reminder, we have the rain gutter regatta this Sunday 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock.

The scouts need to assemble and decorate their boats if they haven’t already done so. If you need a boat, please let us know.

We will be meeting at Massasoit State Park in the amphitheater area.
Drive all the way down to the gazebo and take a left.

We will have water available but come fed or bring a picnic at lunch.

It should be a great day for a boat race.

Hey everyone, we enjoyed the Newport Kite Festival today. We hope everyone did too. Thank you to everyone that brought food to share. Everything was great!

The next summertime event is the bowling night at Ryan’s amusement on Wednesday July 22 from 6:30-7:30.
It will be $7 for the lane and $4 for shoe rental per person. We hope you can make it. Please RSVP. Thank you.

Hi everyone, this Sunday is the Newport Kite Festival from 12:00-4:00 at Brenton Point State Park. The address is 481 Ocean Ave., Newport, RI. You can stay as long or short as you like.

Please RSVP here on Facebook or email or the sign-up genius that I finally figured out. We need to know how many pounds of hamburger and hotdogs to bring.

This will be a fun event. It’s well worth the trip. And it’s totally free.

We will be there early to stake out a spot and we will let everyone know where we are set up here on Facebook.

Don’t forget your chairs, sunscreen and kites if you want to fly. They also sell them there (but they will be expensive).
