Hi everyone
We had a great Blue and Gold celebration.
I’d like to thank everyone who brought food and volunteered to help.
We really appreciate it.

 We are looking forward to the summertime events and seeing everyone again. 

 First summertime event is the fishing Derby, one of my favorites. This will be June 14th from 12 o’clock to 2 o’clock at Johnson’s pond in Raynham.  Bring a fishing pole if you have one. We will have fishing poles if you don’t. Bait will be supplied. There will be three trophies awarded. Good luck. Hope to see you there.

Memorial Day Parade information:

Line up for 10:15 on Bradford St.
It starts at 11:00
Please wear Class A uniforms
Meet up with other scouts

Make sure you arrange pick up at the end or you will be walking back to the start

Hey everyone, we put together a list of summertime events. The scouts need to do at least 3 of these events to get their summertime award.

Fishing Derby - Sunday June 14 12:00-2:00 at Johnson’s Pond. Trophy’s will be given for the largest fish, smallest fish and judge’s choice

Old Fashioned Field Day - Monday June 29 6:30 at East Taunton Elementary

Newport Kite Festival- Sunday July 12
12:00-4:00. We will provide burgers and hot dogs. If you can bring a side to share, that would be great

Bowling night - Wednesday July 22 6:30-7:30 at Ryan’s amusement. $7 plus $4 shoe rental

Raingutter Regatta - Sunday August 2 12:00-2:00 at Massasoit Amphitheatre

Hike at Massasoit and then Kev’s Ice Cream - Monday August 24 6:30

The scouts are welcome to bring a friend to any of these events.

Hi everyone, we are so happy that the scouts had a great time tonight launching their bottle rockets. There will be no scout meeting next Monday whereas no school - no scout meeting. The Memorial Day parade will be happening on Monday. Pack 87 is invited to march in the parade with all scouts from Taunton and Raynham. They will be marching together. When I get more information, I will let you all know.
