Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs

Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs Rotary is a global network of community volunteers. We are dedicated to working together for the well being of our community, our nation, and the world!

Founded on March 3, 1927, with 23 charter members, The Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs currently has over 80 members. We continue to grow both in membership and our ability to adapt to the changing needs of our community. We have nurtured lasting bonds of friendship and have built a legacy of service. Since 1927, we have treated those suffering from disease and physical ailments, fed the hungry, pro

vided clean water for the thirsty, educated those who yearn for knowledge, built playgrounds and recreation centers for the youth of our community, sheltered the homeless in disaster areas, combated Polio on a global basis, and provided financial support to local school groups and community organizations. And we have fun doing it!

Not long ago, diseases like polio affected thousands of children every year—changing lives in an instant. Today, because of vaccines and global efforts, those stories are far less common. That progress is something worth celebrating—and protecting.

🌍 It’s World Immunization Week (April 24–30).

As members of the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs, this mission is close to our hearts. Through the work of Rotary International, we’ve seen firsthand how immunization can change communities. Rotary has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% worldwide, bringing us closer than ever to ending it for good.

But we’re not done yet.

We believe every child deserves a healthy start, and every community deserves protection from preventable diseases. That’s why we continue to support vaccination efforts and raise awareness right here at home and around the world.

Together, we can finish the fight. 💜

🌎 Happy Earth Day from the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs! 🌱
Today, we’re reminded that caring for our planet isn’t just a moment—it’s a responsibility. As Rotarians, we believe in stewardship of the earth, protecting the natural resources we’ve been entrusted with, and taking action to create a more sustainable future for generations to come.

Rotary has long been committed to environmental efforts, and today, supporting the environment is one of Rotary’s official areas of focus—empowering clubs around the world to take meaningful action through conservation, clean water initiatives, and sustainability projects.

From local cleanups to global initiatives, we are people of action—working together to protect our planet not just on Earth Day, but every day. Read more about Rotary and Earth Day: https://www.rotary.org/en/rotary-and-earth-day
