Rotary is a global network of community volunteers. We are dedicated to working together for the well being of our community, our nation, and the world!

Founded on March 3, 1927, with 23 charter members, The Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs currently has over 80 members. We continue to grow both in membership and our ability to adapt to the changing needs of our community. We have nurtured lasting bonds of friendship and have built a legacy of service. Since 1927, we have treated those suffering from disease and physical ailments, fed the hungry, provided clean water for the thirsty, educated those who yearn for knowledge, built playgrounds and recreation centers for the youth of our community, sheltered the homeless in disaster areas, combated Polio on a global basis, and provided financial support to local school groups and community organizations. And we have fun doing it!

We’re proud to celebrate another meaningful addition to Rotary Park! 📚💙

As the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs celebrates 100 years of Service Above Self, projects like this Little Free Library reflect what Rotary is all about—investing in our community, encouraging literacy, and creating resources that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Thank you to Mayor John Koulianos, City of Tarpon Springs staff, the Friends of the Library, all of our Rotarians and everyone who helped bring this project to life.

We hope families throughout Tarpon Springs will stop by, take a book, leave a book, and enjoy this newest addition to Rotary Park!

Today, July 1st, marks the start of a new Rotary year — and for the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs, the beginning of a truly historic milestone: our Centennial Year.

For nearly 100 years, our club has been proud to serve Tarpon Springs through scholarships, service projects, community partnerships, and a continued commitment to Service Above Self. As we begin this special year, we look forward to honoring our legacy while continuing to live out this year’s Rotary theme: Create Lasting Change.

We invite you to be part of our centennial celebration throughout the year by joining us in service and fellowship. Participate in one of our service projects, try the limited-time Rotary flavor at Orange Cycle Creamery this July, participate or volunteer at the Tarpon Springs Triathlon this September, join us for Rise Against Hunger, take part in our charity pickleball tournament in October, support our charity fishing tournament, and celebrate with us at our Centennial Gala this coming March.

Most of all, we invite you to get involved. Reach out to us on social media, by email, or by phone to learn more about upcoming opportunities, service projects, and events. Better yet, come visit a meeting as our guest and see what all the fun is about as we celebrate 100 years of service in Tarpon Springs.

Here’s to a new Rotary year, our Centennial Year, and a year filled with opportunities to create lasting change together. 💙💛

A wonderful evening celebrating a wonderful Rotary year. 💙💛

Last night, the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs gathered for our End of Year Banquet to reflect on the incredible work accomplished this past year and to recognize the dedicated Rotarians who helped make it all possible.

Thank you to our directors, award recipients, and all of this year’s Tommy Award winners for your leadership, service, humor, and heart. Your dedication continues to make our club and community stronger.

We are especially proud to congratulate Patricia Sendker, our Rotarian of the Year, for her outstanding service and commitment to Rotary. We also celebrate Robin Wikle on becoming one of our newest Major Donors, a meaningful commitment to the continued impact of Rotary both locally and around the world.

A special thank you to Rotary District 6950 Assistant Governor Mike Rooney for joining us as our keynote speaker and sharing his Rotary journey with our club.

As we close this Rotary year, we extend our sincere thanks to President Mike Chapman for his leadership, dedication, and steady service to the Rotary Club of Tarpon Springs.

And now, we look ahead with excitement to our centennial year and to having the “rodeo” come to town as President Preston Tagaras leads us into this historic 100th year of Service Above Self in Tarpon Springs.
