❤️ JCAA FOUNDATION PRESIDENT NEEDED ❤️

I’ve been putting this out there for a while, so I’m just going to say it from the heart.

We need a President.

Before that feels overwhelming, let me be really honest about what this role actually is.

A lot of what I’ve done as “President” has simply been showing up for the kids, supporting the chefs, and helping keep things moving. It’s not about being perfect or having all the answers. It’s about caring enough to step in and be part of something that actually matters.

I’ve always been extremely involved in my girls education, long before I ever had a board title. That’s just who I am. But I want to be really clear… that is NOT the expectation for this role.

Here’s what it actually looks like:

• One meeting a month (2nd Thursday)
• Board 5–6
• Booster 6–7ish
• Run the meetings
• Support the chefs
• Communicate with families
• Keep things moving

That’s it. Truly.

Everything is already in place. We just need the next person willing to step in.

Because of you, 14 local households were served through two full dinner seatings, curated pantry support, essential items, diapers in the exact sizes requested, 264 fresh eggs, and $1,600 in Walmart gift cards. The remaining food was donated to The Shepherd Center.

Sydney, Kaulan and Park didn’t just complete a project. They led something that truly mattered. They were able to do that because this community showed up in every possible way.

To every business owner, organization and individual who donated, sponsored, volunteered, or supported behind the scenes, thank you.

Tarpon Springs, we are doing something special. 🤍

Our 2026 SkillsUSA Community Service Project is officially underway, and this one hits different.

Three JCAA students, Sydney, Kaulan, and Park, are leading a student-run initiative focused on dignity, hospitality, and real community support right here at home.

At the end of February, approximately 15 local families and elderly couples will be welcomed to a fully hosted, sit down dinner at a downtown restaurant. They will order from a curated menu prepared and served by our culinary students. After dinner, they will privately select groceries and essentials to take home.

Not a handout.�A hosted evening.�With respect.

This is what these students are capable of when you give them a kitchen and a purpose.

JCAA’s cookbook is almost finished & we are looking for sponsors to help offset the printing costs. We are SO excited that this long time dream is finally happening. 😍

A few of the JCAA students will be doing a community service project tonight at Union Academy. I know it’s last minute, but if you don’t have plans please pop by and enjoy a free dinner made by our students. Dinner will be served from 6:00-6:30. 😍

See all of the green dots - there are FORTY of them?! 😳 Those are all empty spots for tomorrow’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theater at Tarpon Springs High School. 😩

If you don’t have plans for dinner tomorrow we would love to have you join us. The meal will be prepared by the JCAA students and chefs. Dinner & performance will be in the Outback Room at Jcaa. I watched the dress rehearsal today, the TSHS Choral performance is AMAZING (and so funny).
