GivingTuesday, an international day to offer financial support to non-profit organizations, is this Tuesday. This year CTLC is striving to reach a goal of $10,000 toward including fifteen Iberian breeds and seven Central and South American criollo breeds into our breeds-of-the-world database.

Studying these additional breeds will give us insight into which individuals in our gene pool are descended from original Iberian cattle and which outliers are more likely to have been influenced in this country from other breeds.

This GivingTuesday, you can move CTLC closer to this important goal.

When you give today, you’re doing more than just donating—you’ll make it possible to conserve the integrity of this valuable breed of cattle that evolved to be perfectly adapted to survival in the North American southwest. Future generations will appreciate not only the beauty and historical significance of these cattle, but also their contribution to food security due to their innate ability to survive in harsh environments.

We can't do it without you. Donate on Tuesday -- or right now!
