You cannot grow anything unless the ground is prepared.

Sunday we were in Luke 8, where Jesus says the same thing about your heart. The seed is the Word of God, and it only produces where the soil is ready.

If you want God to use you, get good and honest with Him. Here's the guide we mentioned at the end of the message. Take a week and walk through it. If you can't start today, start Monday.

The bread reminds us that Jesus gave His body on the cross for us. The cup reminds us of the new covenant — God has accepted Christ's death as full payment for our sin.

Every time we eat and drink, we're proclaiming His death. It's a Gospel announcement: the debt is paid.
