Congratulations to The Combovers (Bryce and J) on winning the ECTU's 12th Annual Fly Fish-a-thon! The five teams had lots of fun, caught some small fish, caught some large fish and of course caught some trees, lost flies, and helped raise $4,200. ECTU's 12th Annual Fly Fish-a-thon is in the books! An exciting two days of this year's fly fish-a-thon! Congratulations to The Combovers on winning the 2025 fish-a-thon! Thank to all the enters that entered. A shout out to ECTU President Amy and ECTU Board Member Dusty for providing BBQ for the awards party. We love RGCT at ECTU! This Sunday, April 13th join in on a volunteer day in San Cristobal at 10:00 am to save and relocate trout from heading into a dry acequia system. Bring waders, snacks and water. See directions below.

Sunday, April 13, 10:00 at the main headgate/preso (36.611686, -105.616242) of the San Cristobal acequia. Park here (36.611229, -105.620202). You'll park off the road and walk downhill down the 118 driveway and look for people to follow, head towards the river.

Exciting news for Rio Grande Cutthroat! Since 2020 ECTU has invested $30,000+ of grassroots raised funding in Native Rio Grande Cutthroat Trout restoration efforts in Northern New Mexico. A big thank you to our members, donors, supporters and friends for helping to make such an impact!

Big conservation wins at the end of 2024 will benefit native trout in the Upper Rio Grande watershed of New Mexico and Colorado.
