Indigenous Archives Indigenous Archives is a Non-profit mobile multimedia recording and video production studio archiving

MISSION STATEMENT
Indigenous Archives is a mobile multimedia recording and video production studio archiving and preserving Native American Stories, Songs, Language, Prayers, and Wisdom across the Nation for future generations. Traveling across the country to Native Pueblos and Reservations, Indigenous Archives documents the voice of Storytellers and Tribal Elders from Indigenous Tribal Nations. T

he vastness of 'Sacred' words and songs is such an important and rapidly diminishing way of life in the Native lands as we are losing our storytellers, language, songs, and Elders across Native Tribal Nations.

‘We must document and preserve this important and historical treasure of wisdom…we have lost enough over time…This is for the children’s grandchildren…It is their birthright’…

All works produced by Indigenous Archives at Tribes, Pueblos, Reservations, and the Pow Wow Trail will be available to Tribal Members through their tribe's Cultural Preservation Office in multiple digital formats. (mp3, CD, DVD)

Works that have been deemed ‘Sacred’ by the storyteller and or Tribe, will not be available for distribution outside of Tribal Lands and will be gifted to the Tribes Cultural Preservation Office and available to Tribal Members. Ideally, these works will be recorded in both the tribal language and English. Stories and songs that Tribe's decide to make available to the general public will be available at IndigenousArchives.org. and the National Museum of the American Indian Smithsonian Institute. Royalty payments will be paid to participating Tribes directly through our publishing company and record label IndigenouSounDesign, (a division of Indigenous Archives).
