We are excited to announce Rachel Conn as our new Executive Director! Conn succeeds Joe Zupan, who will retire at the end of the year following 11 years as Executive Director.

The Northern New Mexico Climate Justice Leadership Development Program is now accepting applicants ages 18-29 from Northern New Mexico.

This program is an opportunity for individuals who are interested in climate justice and passionate about protecting their communities land, water, and future, to participate in a hands-on environmental apprenticeship. Apprentices gain guided professional learning experience, leadership skills, and mentorship, while helping shape climate solutions rooted in cultural sovereignty and ecological sustainability. The program takes place during January-May 2027, a stipend supports apprentice participation in workshops, mentorship, and guided learning activities.
