This , we're talking about the incredible economic benefit outdoor recreation creates in our state. 🤑

Winter snow activities are the 3rd biggest recreational revenue for the state ❄, and NMORD shared this statistic: For every $1 invested in outdoor programming, New Mexico earns $6 in social value, which directly translates to improved quality of life.

While our winter might not have been the most epic for snowfall, it gives us more chances to explore outside.

What are you looking forward to doing outside this spring?🌹☀️🍃

The 2018 Rio Grande Trail Master Plan established a proposed alignment throughout most of the state, and they need YOUR help to do so.

Finding a route for this plan between Santa Fe and Taos counties will help strengthen the connectivity between the 2 culturally rich communities.

Winter Wednesday: Pack It Out Edition🚯

The snow melts, but the trash stays. Every season, the spring melt reveals winter's impact. Food scraps attract wildlife and can lead to their dependency on humans, TP is one of the biggest litter issues, and everyone likes clean trails! The biggest message is always pack out what you take in.

Help keep our trails clean and beautiful for the next user (human or not 😉)
