The powerful words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ring truer today than ever:
“The time is always right to do what is right.”
In a world full of excuses, distractions, and “maybe laters,” this challenges us, especially our youth, to stand up now for what’s godly, just, and true. Rooted in his faith, Dr. King echoed the biblical call to act with courage and righteousness without delay.
Scripture reminds us:
“To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.” (Proverbs 21:3)
And again:
“Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression…” (Isaiah 1:17)
God doesn’t call us to wait for perfect conditions or a convenient season, He calls us to obedience in the moment. Whether it’s standing against bullying, speaking the truth in love, serving the overlooked, or choosing integrity when no one’s watching, the time is now.
Young people, you have incredible influence. Let your faith fuel your actions. Be bold. Be just. Be light in the darkness.
The time is always right to do what is right.
