Taneytown Lions Club Our mission is to serve the community with service projects, donations to worthy causes, and help in times of need with an emphasis on sight conservation

We serve the community with many service projects, donations to worthy causes, and help in times of need. We support Lions number one priority of Sight Conservation and aid to the visually impaired with significant contributions to the Maryland Eye Bank, Lions Vision Research Center (LVRC), and Leader Dog Program. Locally, we have helped many needy individuals with eye exams and glasses. Each year

the Club donates over $20,000 to meet local needs, as well as national and world-wide efforts. In conjunction with the nearly 1.4 million other members around the world, Lions everywhere are proud to proclaim that 100% of all proceeds from fundraisers in the community are donated. Administrative costs are absorbed by dues and internal club activities.
