The Stephenson Family Neonatal Foundation Supporting families with non-medical expenses related to having a child in the NICU

The Stephenson Neonatal Foundation was established in 2022 by Mark and Stefani Stephenson. Their daughter, Sophia, was born in May 2020 at just 28 weeks gestation, weighing 3.5lbs. The family spent 4 months in neonatal facilities as Sophia became strong enough to come home. In that time, they witnessed families having to make extremely difficult choices, including not visiting as often as they’d l

ike due to the non-medical expenses associated with caring for a child in a NICU. Today, Sophia is healthy and thriving, and the Stephensons want to give back to the community of NICU families. The mission of the Stephenson Neonatal Foundation is to support the care of infants in neonatal care facilities by providing financial assistance to families. We believe that parents should never have to sacrifice spending time in the hospital with their baby due to financial need. We want to share our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us at Stephenson Family Neonatal Foundation Fundraising Social and through online donations. Thanks to your generosity, we raised almost $900 to support local families with a baby in the NICU!
