ICYMI: girls flag football is the fastest growing high school sport today, with more than 102,000 girls playing the game from 2025-2026. And they're not stopping there.

40 NCAA schools are offering flag football as a collegiate sport, Team USA flag football is planning their debut at the LA 2028 Olympics, and now, the NFL and many of its players are investing in the sport — both in and out of the league — from Lamar Jackson to Tom Brady.

We asked Jackson, the NFL, and a few star players to weigh in on the rise of the game, their hopes for the future of flag football, and what it means to invest in women's sports right now.

💪Troy Vincent, Sr. nice work!

With flag football, we’re building a world where football is for everyone, everywhere. It’s for girls like my granddaughters, who will have access to opportunities (like high school competitions, college scholarships, and NCAA championships) that my daughter didn’t at their age. It’s for 20 million players in 100 countries that are seeing funding and government backing that they might never have accessed without Olympic status.

We're just getting started. The future of our game is flag, and it's global.
