is officially in the books! Over the week, our TBABJ members got the opportunity to learn, connect, celebrate, and fellowship with journalists from across the country.

From educational workshops and panels, to networking and social gatherings, ATL kept us busy! But we've returned home with renewed inspiration, faith, and strength.

A huge thanks to Atlanta Association of Black Journalists for hosting this year's conference, and a very special thanks to CFABJ Orlando for taking time out to enjoy the festivities with us and being a part of our Atlanta experience!

We're now getting our cowboy boots and hats ready as we look forward to Houston for ! See you all there!

UNITED IN EXCELLENCE! ✨️

Here's the day 4 recap of , where we took some more time to fellowship with our sister chapter CFABJ Orlando as well as participate in a TBABJ roll call for the Atlanta conference.

We are also celebrating our very own VP of Broadcast, Emerald Morrow | Journalist , for winning the NABJ 2026 Salute to Excellence award in her category! 🥳

And of course, no conference is complete without a little partying, as we joined other members across the country for the kickoff in Houston!

While there's much celebration happening at there's also plenty of education.

Here's a look at day 2, where we got the opportunity to listen to some influential voices of journalism, law, civil rights and public policy.

A seminar was held on Thursday featuring civil rights attorney Ben Crump, Rev. Al Sharpton, and the family of Nolan Wells. House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries also had a discussion on the current state of the nation and the issues shaping today's political landscape, moderated by NABJ President Errin Haines.

The conversation wrapped up with a fireside chat hosted by Joy-Ann Reid featuring acclaimed legal scholar Kimberlé Crenshaw and Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Nikole Hannah-Jones.
