GFWC Tampa Women of Change Our mission is to enhance the lives of others in The Tampa Bay Area and Internationally through volu You can participate as little or as much as you can.

The GFWC Tampa Junior Woman's Club, TJWC, was founded in 1935 and is a proud member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Honoring the motto of “Unity in Diversity,” we come together as unique individuals dedicated to community improvement by collaborating and by providing an environment to pursue projects of interest. s. In 2021 we changed out volunteer model and name to The GFWC Tampa Women of Change to align with our goals and mission. Our mission is to enhance the lives of others in The Tampa Bay Area and Internationally through volunteer service.​

In 2019 our club transformed into a virtual club to meet the demands of working women with busy lives. With no minimum requirements and low annual dues of $35 per year we coordinate our efforts virtually using Meetup and Social Media. A small contribution by many can have a big effect on our community.

The GFWC Tampa Women of Change present High Tea for Backpacks sponsored by White Claw.

Enjoy an unforgetable afternoon at The Tampa Woman's Club enjoying fine teas and fresh baked scones included with a traditional Royal High Tea Service.

Proceeds will benefit backpacks for children. The GFWC Tampa Women of Change hold an annual backpack event where they donate backpacks to underprivileged children in Tampa. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of the school supplies and backpacks provided.

Ticket includes entry to the event and Royal High Tea Service inclusive with a champagne bar.

A few weeks ago our members sorted bras for .tampabay.

Through an international network of Affiliates, I Support the Girls collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women and folx experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity.
A woman shouldn’t have to choose between feeding herself and her personal health.  Every woman should have the ability to maintain her dignity.
Around the globe we're helping girls and women experiencing homelessness, victims of domestic violence, victims of s*x trafficking, refugees and evacuees affected by natural disasters.
