Come help us create the Poké Ball Pumpkin Patch for Spooky Stroll!

On Tuesday, October 13, we’ll be painting round objects of all different sizes in the classic red, white, and black Poké Ball design. The finished Poké Balls will become part of a larger Pokémon-themed pumpkin patch installation at Spooky Stroll.

This is a simple, fun painting workshop where participants can jump in, learn how to build the design in layers, and help us make a whole lot of Poké Balls.

We see the posts asking what the cool thing to do in the neighborhood is for Halloween, and we’re here to answer the question: Spooky Stroll

For 7 years, TRIBE has brought neighbors and families together for a night of free books, family-friendly games, and fun. Think costumes, creativity, and community, with themed stations, immersive art, and hands-on activities for everyone from toddlers to teens. Always spooky, never scary!

Spooky Stroll includes a fundraiser for TRIBE. We also partner with other community groups and nonprofits so you can get to know their programs while enjoying the evening.

Join us Saturday, October 24, at the Seminole Heights United Methodist Church campus. Timed entry starts at 6 p.m., with entry times at 6:00, 6:30, 7:00, 7:30, and 8:00.

Tickets are $3 for kids and $5 for adults. If the cost would keep your family from attending, please email [email protected] to request free tickets. We want you to be part of the fun.

Come help us create The Anatomy Lab, a life-size interactive medical exhibit for Spooky Stroll!

On Tuesday, October 6 and Thursday, October 8, we’ll be painting the oversized game board and the anatomy artwork that will surround it.

Participants will work with acrylic and glow-in-the-dark paint to add color and details to the human body, heart, lungs, cardiovascular system, and other medical-themed pieces.

The finished artwork will glow under black lights and become part of an interactive Spooky Stroll experience, so everyone who joins us will have a hand in creating the final exhibit!

Children under 14 must attend with an adult. Advance registration helps us prepare enough materials and supervision.

Come learn the basics of string art and create a collaborative Halloween installation for Spooky Stroll!

On Thursday October 1, we’ll be working on large wooden panels with Halloween designs already mapped out and the nails already in place.

Participants will learn the string art technique by wrapping yarn around the nails to gradually fill in the designs and bring the artwork to life. The finished panels will become part of our Nailed It display at Spooky Stroll, so everyone who participates will have a hand in creating the final exhibit.

Children under 14 must attend with an adult. Advance registration helps us prepare enough materials and supervision.

We need help building a Wizard’s Shop!

For this year’s Spooky Stroll, we’re transforming part of TRIBE into a magical little shop filled with signs, displays, props, and all the strange details a proper wizard might need!

On September 29, Hope and Cailee will lead our next Make It Spooky: community art workshop. We’ll be painting cardboard store displays, adding hand lettering and embellishments, and creating the pieces that will become the finished shop.

You don’t need to be an artist. You just need to be willing to help us make something fun.

We need help making a galaxy.

Next Tuesday, we’re kicking off our Make It Spooky: Community Art Workshops with Cosmic Pour. We’ll be transforming recycled vinyl records into glowing planets using acrylic pour techniques and glow-in-the-dark paint.

And these aren’t going home afterward. They’re becoming part of a space-themed exhibit at Spooky Stroll.

TRIBE artists Betty and Hope will be there to show you how it’s done. No art experience required.
