Last night, KSY hosted its annual Heritage Party at J.C. Newman Cigar Company and brought the energy with an unforgettable Latin-themed dinner party! 🌴✨ From the vibrant décor to the incredible live music, the atmosphere was full of rhythm, laughter, and nonstop fun.

Members, spouses, and guests gathered to enjoy a delicious Latin (with a splash of Indian influence) cuisine, refreshing drinks from the open bar, and plenty of dancing throughout the evening. It was a perfect night of connection, celebration, and community. 🎉🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the night so special—KSY knows how to celebrate in style! 💃🎶 We can’t wait to do it again! 💥

The krewe is staying busy inbetween parade seasons and actively seeking new members 🎉👏. The krewe had a super fun time last night at the new member social 💥🎊. The brothers had the opportunity to meet, talk, and generally socialize with individuals interested in joining our esteemed krewe 🤝🌟.

This awesome meet & greet event was held at a cigar bar in Tampa’s historic Ybor district 🏛️🌴. The brothers from the krewe and their invited prospect guests had the place packed for a few hours 🕰️👥. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed everyone's company.

The krewe extends its thanks to all that attended and made the event such a huge success 🙏🎉.

Parade season is almost over but the Krewe of the Knights of Sant'Yago is staying busy.

This past Saturday, KSY hosted its annual charity clay shoot at Tampa Bay Sporting Clays. The weather was great for an event of this nature. Participants spent a few hours putting their marksmanship skills to the test and competed for the #1 spot. Every year, KSY hosts this event to raise money in support of our Educational Foundation charity.

The krewe extends its thanks to everyone that participated in the event and for contributing to this noteworthy cause.

The Krewe of the Knights of Sant’ Yago hosted the Illuminated Knight Parade this past Saturday in historic Ybor City. The krewe has hosted this parade every year since 1974. The parade is a celebration of Tampa’s long Latin heritage and civic pride, brightening the streets of Ybor City’s 7th Avenue for a special night of floats, costumes, beads, and merriment.

Every February, costumed participants, illuminated floats, marching bands and special guests parade through Ybor City, with thousands of spectators and families lining Seventh Avenue. More than 100 organizations participated in the Knight Parade, including local government officials, dignitaries and many of Tampa Bay’s krewes.

This year, the parade Grand Marshal was none other than Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr., chairman and visionary of Arturo Fuente Ci**rs. Carlito is a Tampa native who grew up in Ybor City and is a third-generation cigar maker. Fuente was a natural fit for the role of Grand Marshal, and the Krewe of the Knights Sant’ Yago was honored to have him leading the parade festivities.

The Krewe of the Knights of Sant'Yago extends its thanks to all the krewes that participated in the parade, law enforcement and first responders, the City of Tampa , our title sponser Pin Chasers, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa, Circle K, J&J Exterior Holding, Buccaneer Beads, and Stepp's Towing and Heavy Transport.

Huge shout out and appreciation to all the spectators that showed up to support and celebrate the occasion with us. Viva Sant'Yago!!

While brothers from the krewe get ready for the Illuminated Knight Parade, the KSY Knights with a Heart continue their mission of bringing a little bit of the parade spirit to those unable to attend.

The KSY Knights with a Heart visited the All Children’s Hospital this morning and then shared time at the VA James Haley in the afternoon. In addition to being busy with preparations for the Illuminated Knight Parade, the brothers continue to prioritize community engagement and outreach.

Viva Sant'Yago.
