A huge thank you to everyone who came out Saturday to support End 68 Hours of Hunger! We had such a fabulous turnout, and we truly appreciate everyone who helped make the event a success.

A special thank you to Phyllis Roman and her daughter, Lisa, from American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 152, for all their hard work organizing and putting this event together. We also want to give a big shoutout to Bradley Martinez and Santander Financial for providing all the meat, rolls, and condiments. And, of course, thank you to American Legion Auxiliary Unit 152 and Country Memorial Unit 152 members for donating all the delicious side dishes and desserts! Thank you to all who contributed to our raffle prizes. Thanks to you all, we raised nearly $2,500 to help feed local food insecure children.

Most importantly, thank you to all of the Legion members and guests who came out and supported our mission. Together, we’re helping make sure no child goes hungry during the 68 hours of the weekend. We’re so grateful for your support!

We are overflowing with gratitude for our incredible Mission Partner, Hyde Park United Methodist Church and their amazing Back-to-School Food Drive benefiting the children in our care! ❤️📚

Despite intense rain and the summer heat and humidity, members of the congregation showed up with determination and big hearts to make sure our children have the food they need to fuel their minds and bodies as they begin a new school year.

Volunteers collected, sorted, and delivered enough food to the End 68 Pantry to provide food bags for 283 children. Each bag provides 7 meals—3 dinners, 2 lunches, 2 breakfasts, plus snacks. What an amazing gift! 🥰

Thank you for standing with our children, supporting their well-being, and making a meaningful difference in their lives. Your kindness, generosity, and commitment remind us what can happen when a community comes together. 🎒

Tampa area students return to school Monday, August 10. Our Tampa chapter of End 68 Hours of Hunger expects to be feeding close to 1,000 students every weekend. We are ready. We hope you are ready to help us accomplish this.

BRAVO to 45 PrimeTimers at Hyde Park United Methodist Church for assembling 10,152 Meals of Hope fortified meals for the children of End 68 ! We are so grateful to this group of passionate and enthusiastic congregants who give of their time and energy each year to support End 68's mission of feeding Tampa's children in need. Special shoutout to Sprouts Farmers Market for their generous donation of grocery bags! Every bag they provide is one less expense for us, allowing more of our resources to go directly toward purchasing food to feed hungry children.
