"Diaper need" isn't a phrase most people have heard. Here's what it means: It's the inability to afford enough diapers to keep a baby clean, dry and healthy. Not a shortage of love or effort, a shortage of a product that costs about $90 - 140 a month and isn't covered by any federal assistance program.
78% of families experiencing diaper need held a paying job in the past year. These are working parents.
When there aren't enough, parents stretch a diaper, leaving one on longer than they should. That leads to rashes, infections, ER visits, and a level of stress no parent should carry alone.
That's the need we exist to close. Learn more from 's Diaper Check 2026 research.
