One thing people don’t always see behind the scenes of nonprofit work is the constant fight to keep programs going.
Many people assume that because an organization is a nonprofit, that means we receive grants, big sponsorships, or large partnerships. The truth is, a lot of smaller nonprofits don’t. Most of the larger organizations receive the majority of the funding, partnerships, and grant opportunities. Meanwhile, smaller community-based nonprofits, the ones working directly with families, children, the homeless, and the elderly often have to fight just to stay afloat.
For many of us, our programs don’t run off large checks or corporate funding. They run off fundraisers, small donations, and people who believe in the mission.
Organizations like ours rely on the community. Not because we want to ask, but because this is how we keep helping people all year long.
Every fundraiser helps us continue programs that support families, provide food, assist those experiencing homelessness, help youth, and serve people who truly need it. Without these fundraisers and donations, many of these programs would simply not exist.
Right now, we are doing a fundraiser through Double Good Popcorn, and every order placed helps us continue the work we do in the community.
When you place an order, you're not just buying popcorn.
You’re helping us keep programs alive.
You’re helping us support families in need.
You’re helping us continue the mission throughout the year.
Small nonprofits make a big impact but we can’t do it alone.
If you would like to support, please consider ordering from our fundraiser or sharing it with someone else. Even the smallest act of support can help make a real difference.
Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in what we do and helps us keep pushing forward.
Because at the end of the day, this work is not about us it's about the people who depend on these programs.
