Get to know our Board of Directors!

Back in May we held nominations for some open board positions. Jon, Peter, Bruce and Bill are all continuing their roles on the board, and we are welcoming Stef and Paul as new directors!
After many years of dedicated support to our organization, Alex has taken a step back, passing on the role of president to Jake. Jake has managed the Tampa Hackerspace marketing for the past few years, served as a director starting last year, and has volunteered with many other nonprofits like DECA, the 4H Foundation, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and the National Down Syndrome Society.

Progress is already underway with exciting new tools and classes being added all the time. We couldn’t be more excited about this next chapter for Tampa Hackerspace.

If you see a board member at Tampa Hackerspace, stop and say hi!

Tampa Hackerspace’s first first aid class was… a success?

0 casualties, 1 lost finger and a totally reasonable amount of fake blood later

That sounds successful to me!

Keep a lookout for our next CPR, AED and First Aid certification coming soon! Sign up for this and all our other classes on our website.
