On Oct. 4, the Tampa Alumnae Chapter and Tampa Metropolitan chapters fellowshipped with Allen Temple AME Church for its Unity Worship Culmination & Communion Service.

Rev. Dr. Gwendolyn Boyd, the 22nd National President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was the guest speaker. The theme “Stronger Together in Christ,” was a beautiful reminder of what is possible when faith, community and sisterhood come together.

On Sept. 29, members of the Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. delivered personal hygiene items as part of our Round Up project with Mr. Bubblez.

Generous donations helped us fill five 8-gallon bins and prepare 100 care bags, each containing at least 10 personal hygiene items! We also provided two bins of products to our collegiate Sorors to support their service project.

Mr. Bubblez is a nonprofit organization providing mobile hot showers and hygiene services to individuals experiencing homelessness. The 100 care bags will be distributed at its next event:

📍 First Baptist Church of College Hill
3838 N. 29th St., Tampa
📅 Oct. 3 | 8 a.m.–noon

Sorors, we invite you to join us and help distribute the care bags!

Thank you to everyone who donated and to Sorors Alicia Howell-Banks and Constance Jackson for bringing this meaningful service opportunity to our chapter. Together, we continue to serve our community with care and compassion.

🗳️ Voter Engagement in Action!

On Sept. 26, the Tampa Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. supported the NAACP Countywide Voter Engagement initiative in collaboration with Sisters Network Tampa.

Approximately 150 community members attended, and we connected with nearly 50 individuals at our table, sharing voter education information and our Delta Decides resources created by the Social Action Committee (attached), including tools to check voter registration status.🗳🔺️📍
