Today was more than a day of service, it was a celebration of new beginnings and exciting possibilities! Eta Gamma Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho, Inc. was honored to celebrate the reopening of the Voorhees University campus pool, creating new opportunities to promote swimming, water safety, wellness, and community engagement.

We were proud to support this special occasion by supplying pool noodles, goggles, and towels to the community members and Voorhees University students.

This moment represents so much more than a reopened pool. It represents an opportunity to make waves through service and expand the reach of SWIM 1922 by encouraging swimming and water safety throughout our community. We are excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and look forward to building meaningful partnerships and creating even more opportunities to serve.

A heartfelt thank you to Voorhees University for reopening this important community resource and for allowing us to share in this wonderful celebration. We are grateful for the collaboration, the opportunity to serve, and the exciting possibilities ahead!

The Eta Gamma Sigma family came together for our annual retreat yesterday. We gathered, learned, grew, fellowshipped, and shared knowledge! 💙💛

We all participated in meaningful conversations and activities centered around leadership skills, teamwork, communication, and strengthening our chapter. Because when we learn together, we grow together, and when we grow together, we become an even stronger sisterhood!

A HUGE thank you to Madam Area Coordinator Sharon Wallace and Madam Area Coordinator Natasha Birt for sharing an abundance of knowledge, wisdom, and valuable information with us! Your leadership and insight provided our chapter with tools and inspiration that we can carry forward into the year ahead.

From learning to laughing, sharing ideas to building connections, our retreat reminded us that there is power in sisterhood and strength in working together!

Now that Eta Gamma Sigma is SOMEWHAT rested from attending Boule👀😂😴

Whew! Tampa gave us new Sorors, new information, new memories, and a whole lot of reasons to laugh! We had the opportunity to meet and fellowship with Sorors from near and far, learn, grow, bond, and enjoy all the beautiful things that come with Sisterhood! 💛💙

Boule may be over, but the memories (and probably the tired feet 😂) are still with us!

But don’t get too comfortable 👀
NEXT STOP REGIONALS!

Until then, Eta Gamma Sigma will continue to serve, uplift, educate, and make a difference in our communities. 💪🏽💙💛
