Also known as African American History Month, the event grew out of “Negro History Week,” the brainchild of noted historian Carter G. Woodson and other prominent African Americans. Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history.

Happy Holidays to you and yours!

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue our donation event hiatus to focus on restructuring and regrouping for the new year.

Although we have temporarily paused our donation events we still conduct our weekly Panera Bread distributions and are available to help individual families with specific needs to the best of our ability.

We've been quiet but we are STILL here weekly giving out Panera Bread Donations to those in need ❤️ Last year we gave out a record breaking over $30,000 in donated Panera Bread pastries and goods!

We'll be gearing up for our next food drive this Summer with the help of some local vendors such as Publix, Winn-Dixies, McDonald's and more!

The time of need is NOW 😊

What a successful donation drive we had for !

We collected approximately $450 worth of goods for those in need this holiday season!

Thank you to all of our individual donors that have gone above and beyond this year to give!

Thank you to all of our business donors, especially Ross stores, for their donations that largely funded these purchases.
