This little guy saw the vet today to have his drained removed and I'm happy to report he is healing well! ❤️‍🩹 He did have another abscess over the weekend which I drained with the guidance of our vet and so far it has not refilled. Hopefully it stays that way!

These two tiny nuggets are separated until the little guys drain comes out and he's a little more stable on his back leg. However, that's not stopping them from playing together and it's the cutest thing! 🥹🥰 Also, help me name them! Drop your suggestions in the comments. ❤️

My tiny little guy did so well during surgery! ❤️‍🩹 Unfortunately, the infection was so bad that there was pus everywhere and the ver had to place a drain. I am so glad this part is over and that we caught this as soon as we did.

He's back home, eating great and doing lots of resting. I've separated him from the other kitten for now because she keeps wanting to play with him and he's way too sore for that. He's on antibiotics and lots of pain meds to make sure he's comfortable during recovery. ❤️‍🩹

So we got some tough news yesterday. 😞 Little guy had X-rays done to check on the swelling on his hip/thigh/leg and it sadly it showed a broken hip. The vet collected fluid from the swelling and it came back as a very angry, infected abscess, which is not what we were hoping for. Because the injury and infection are severe the vet feels the best and safest option for him is to amputate the affected leg. 💔 He's currently on meds and in making sure he's as comfortable and happy as possible untill tomorrow morning when he will have his surgery. It's a big surgery for such a tiny little guy but I have full trust in our vet.

My little guy is struggling today. 😞 The big bump on his belly that we thought was the hernia bursted today so it looks like it was an umbilical abscess. It actually created a significant opening which is concerning for such a small kitten. Thankfully our wonderful vet was able to squeeze him in immediately for an exam so we are on the way there now. ❤️‍🩹

The kittens did so well overnight and even had baths to get all the crust off of them! Enjoy some before and after pictures 🥰 They are so soft, smell delicious and I think feel way better now too!

It's been a while since we've had tiny wittle babies in this house, but that changed today! ❤️‍🩹

These two are about 3 weeks old and were transferred from an emergency vet to our county shelter where there were facing a 4pm deadline. The Siamese girl weighs 0.51 lbs and arrived with mild conjunctivitis, but no nasal discharge. The brown tabby boy weighs 0.66 lbs and has an umbilical hernia along with some swelling in his right hind limb, though no obvious injury was seen. Both are crusty, covered in fleas and flea dirt and so so hungry! The Siamese kitten took to the bottle immediately and the tabby boy wasn't as sold on it. They both were stimulated to p*e and to no surprise their urine is bright yellow, meaning they are very dehydrated. Both are currently snuggled up on a heating pad and I'll try feeding the tabby boy shortly again. ❤️‍🩹

I wasn't planning on taking on littles so I need some help. I need formula for them and a bottle warmer because our microwave died so I don't have a way to warm their bottles aside from putting it into warm water which would take a while, especially for those overnight feedings. Happy adoption to Sweet Pea! 💖

I've been slacking on updating y'all on my fosters but I'm trying to do better! 🙈 Sweet Pea moved out two weeks ago, Sept 19th and is doing so well in her home. She has a young kitty brother that's learning all about having a baby sister, a wonderful family that's so in love with her and a senior pup. I am so happy for this sweet girl because she truly is the most gentle, snuggly, purry and adorable little kitten.

Hi! 👋 Where has September gone?! This month has been a busy one and the next two weeks won't be any slower. Between work being busy, my personal life, getting sick for almost two weeks, kitten poopsplosions and everything in-between social media took a backseat! I'm excited to share some news and new pics of everyone! This pic of Poppy is a few weeks old but too cute not to share! 🥰
