Through THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health, Wolfson Children’s works beyond the hospital walls to improve the health, wellness, and quality of life of children and families throughout the communities they serve. 🌟

THE PLAYERS Center for Child Health provides a wide range of community programs and resources, including:

• Access to Health Care

• Child Safety and Injury Prevention

• Education Programs

• Health and Wellness

• Legislative Advocacy

and more.

Through their access to health care efforts, Wolfson Children’s helps connect families with resources so children can get the care they need, with a focus on enrollment in Florida KidCare and Medicaid, as well as identifying other needs that may impact children’s health. Their team also works with community organizations to reach more families and expand access to important resources! 😊

One thing Jarvis shared for anyone who may be looking to navigate health coverage or other assistance programs: there are people out there who want to help and advocate on your behalf, often at little to no cost. You don’t have to navigate these resources alone!

The Jessie Trice Community Health System has been serving the Miami-Dade community since 1967. It is the first Federally Qualified Health Center in Florida.
