Some legacies are measured in records. Others are measured in the lives touched along the way.

This year, the Vincent Jackson Community Hero Award honors Kim Rogers, whose more than 15 years of dedication to military families has brought joy, comfort and meaningful support to thousands across Tampa Bay.

Through the Allen N. Reeves Heroes Foundation, Kim and her family have provided more than 2,500 bicycles and thousands of holiday toys to military children and families, helping ensure those who serve, and the families who stand beside them, know their community stands with them.

That spirit of service, generosity and care is at the heart of Vincent’s legacy, making Kim a beautiful reflection of what this award represents.

Congratulations, Kim, and thank you for continuing to show what it means to serve a community with heart.
This year’s award was presented by our foundation’s executive director Allison Gorrell, inaugural recipient of the Vincent Jackson Community Hero Award Cindy Gierke, Base Commander, Col. Kevin Eley, and Command Chief MSgt. Christopher Ottenwess.

To show our appreciation to Legacy League member James Valor Network we gifted them with suite tickets to a South Florida Football game where retired Army veteran Ingrid Tate and her family enjoyed the day alongside fellow military veteran Clarelle Sylvain, her children, Coy and Chase, and Jalen Pitts.

The group had an incredible time, and the children were thrilled to share the experience. The outing held special meaning for Ingrid, whose military deployments often kept her from enjoying moments like this with her children. Now retired, she treasures every opportunity to spend quality time with them and create lasting family memories.
