The HCMA Foundation is proud to announce the recipients of our 2026 Community Grant Awards!

Each year, due to the success of our primary fundraiser, the HCMA Foundation Charity Golf Classic, we are honored to support local organizations that are improving the health and well-being of individuals and families throughout our community. We are continually inspired by the passion, dedication, and compassion these organizations bring to their work every day.

This weekend, HCMA leadership is representing our members at the Florida Medical Association Spring Board of Governors Meeting in Orlando.

Participation in these meetings ensures that the perspectives and concerns of Hillsborough County physicians are represented in discussions on healthcare policy, physician advocacy, and issues impacting the practice of medicine throughout Florida.

HCMA remains committed to being a strong voice for our members and advancing the interests of physicians and patients at both the local and state levels.

What a great evening at HCMA’s Medical Student Social at Sparkman Wharf!

Medical students had the opportunity to connect with HCMA leaders, build new relationships, and enjoy great conversation in a relaxed setting. Special thanks to Jacob Hoekzema, HCMA's medical student representative, for arranging drinks and ice cream for everyone - a perfect addition to a fun and engaging evening on the Tampa waterfront.

We always enjoy spending time with the future of medicine and look forward to continuing to support and connect with the next generation of physicians.
