Hello beautiful grandmas. I’m sorry I haven’t posted in a while. I had a loss in my family. I went to a funeral up north. Does anyone have any stories of reconciliation with your child/grandchild? As for my , my son said he doesn’t want me around his child. This is from his wife. She wants him all to herself , we were best of friends until they got married and 9 months later had the baby. All of a sudden I wasn’t needed. It breaks my heart more everyday.

I read an article about dealing with controlling daughter in laws , I saved this one part just to share with you. This is so hard for me to do at times, and it makes me so angry that your relationship with your grandbabies is held over your head ,by how you treat her. I haven’t been one to bite my tongue, it’s a work in progress.

Thank you ladies for joining this group. I feel for every single one of you going through this unnecessary pain and sadness. We spent our lives loving and raising our children, excited for the day to become a Grandparent. Than to literally have it ripped away from us is a true sin. We have to trust in , whoever, our God is. That he/she will guide our grandbabies back to us. I say whoever our God is to be neutral. Not all believe Jesus is our savior , many have their own beliefs. I’m not here to judge anyone on who their higher power is.

Babies change so much the first year of life. When that is taken away from a loving Grandparent, they feel robbed and hurt in the most deepest way. We can’t get that time back, it’s gone. What made your adult child decide you can’t be a part of your Grandbabies life?
