Honored to celebrate this proclamation recognizing the Hispanic Star Hub, our leader Claudia Vazquez shared some data points of the Hispanic community in Pasco County.
Some points shared include that Hispanics represent 20.4% of Pasco County’s population—more than 137,000 residents. In Pasco schools, 22,875 Hispanic students are enrolled in Pasco County Schools, representing 26.6% of all students—more than 1 in 4.
The Hispanic community is also a growing economic force across Pasco—driving entrepreneurship through hundreds of locally owned businesses in industries like construction, retail, healthcare, hospitality, and professional services, while creating jobs, building wealth through homeownership, and investing in the future of our county.
Proud to celebrate the culture, leadership, and economic impact of our Hispanic community—and proud of all we continue to build together in Pasco County and the Tampa Area.
