History:

In 2005, Michael Clayton Generation Next Foundation was established to give back to the community and help make a difference in the lives of young people of today and for generations to come. We accomplished our mission by providing scholarships to deserving underprivileged students who maintain positive attitudes, have a strong work ethic, and have the level of drive and determination t

hat will let nothing stop them from attaining their dreams. We have also established the Michael Clayton Generation Next Foundation Quest Program, a life skills program that teaches students important skills that will not only prepare them for life after high school, but also equip them with the skills needed to have a full successful life. In addition, the foundation has supported a variety of charities in the Tampa Bay area, as well as in Baton Rouge, such as the Ronald McDonald Mobile Care unit, which travels throughout the community bringing medical care to those who need it, the Tampa Bay Pediatric Cancer Center, and the LSU Hurricane Katrina Fund. Future:

In September, 2014, Chairman Michael Clayton addressed a group of people made up of employees and volunteers related to Circuit 6 of the Department of Juvenile Justice. A business relationship was formed shortly thereafter between Mr. Clayton and Eckerd Youth Alternatives and Camelot Community Care. He was made aware of the Independent Living Program, run in conjunction with Eckerd and Camelot and their need for affordable housing for children and young adults aging out of the foster care system. Clayton’s life-long commitment to aiding at-risk youth and his love of real estate, this was an opportunity that he approached with the same vigor he was known for on the football field. Faced with taking on the task of not only housing these young adults active in the Independent Living Program, but providing furnishings and mentor services, Mr. Clayton felt confident in re-vamping his foundation and reaching out to friends and business associates to help with this much needed cause. With a new Board of Directors formed and in place, the entity formerly known as “Michael Clayton Generation Next, Inc” has been re-named as “Generation Next Foundation, Inc”, along with a modified mission, is ready to move forward with a Mentoring program and a fund-raising initiative to provide furnishings and scholarships to members of the Independent Living Program.
