Baby Lu’Ka went to sleep and did not wake up. Now, his family is facing every parent’s worst nightmare while also trying to prepare for funeral and memorial expenses within just days.

If you are able to donate — even $5, $10, or simply sharing this post — it truly makes a difference. Every contribution goes directly toward giving baby Lu’Ka the service he deserves and helping relieve some of the burden from his loved ones.

To stand beside families facing the unimaginable pain of losing a child and help carry some of the burden during their darkest moments.

Right now, we are assisting a Hillsborough County family after the loss of baby Lu’Ka. While our foundation is doing everything we can to support them, we do not currently have the funding to fully cover the remaining funeral and memorial service expenses on our own.

The remaining balance for services is due Wednesday, 5/13, and we are asking our community to come together to help us give this baby the service he deserves and support his grieving family during this heartbreaking time.

📣 High School Volunteers Needed (Ages 16+)

Are you a high school student in need of community service hours?
Looking to gain real-world experience while making a meaningful impact?

Halo Morales Foundation is currently accepting applications for student volunteers to assist with administrative and computer-based support.

This is a work-from-home position with required fundraising/event participation.

Volunteer Requirements:
• Must be 16 years or older
• Must have access to a computer (work cannot be completed on a smartphone or tablet)
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must be dependable and able to meet deadlines
• Parent/guardian consent required (if under 18)

Training will be provided.

What You’ll Gain:

Two Years Without Halo 🤍

Yesterday marked two years since our sweet Halo Amir Morales gained his wings.

I was too emotional to post. The grief still comes in waves. Some days I stand strong in purpose — other days I am simply a mother missing her son.

But in these two years, Halo’s name has continued to move.

In his honor, we have:
✨ Held a virtual Wave of Light for families remembering their babies
✨ Helped expectant mothers prepare for their little ones
✨ Hosted our Bundle of Hope event
✨ Partnered with Owlet to promote infant safety awareness

Halo was here for 59 days.
His impact continues far beyond them.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, prayed, shared, and stood beside us. Halo’s legacy is just beginning.

✨ Reflecting on Last Year. Preparing for What’s Next. ✨

As we take a moment to reflect on the past year at the Halo Morales Foundation, we are filled with gratitude for what was built — and hope for what’s ahead.

Over the past year, we had the honor of serving families through education, support, and remembrance. We were able to gift FREE Owlet monitors to promote infant safety, host our 1st Annual Bundle of Hope, and virtually acknowledge and honor over 25 children through our Virtual Wave of Light — ensuring their lives are never forgotten.

On December 20, we also honored a deeply personal milestone — Halo’s 2nd Heavenly Birthday 🤍. Halo is the reason this foundation exists. His life, his love, and his legacy continue to guide every step of this mission.

While this post reflects on last year’s impact, we are already preparing for what’s next. This year, we are expanding — strengthening our programs, partnerships, and reach so we can support even more families. More details coming soon.

Thank you to every family, supporter, partner, and community member who walked with us. We carry last year’s impact forward with purpose — and we move ahead with love.

Postpartum is one of the most overwhelming seasons a mother can face — mentally, physically, and emotionally. And many moms face it without the essentials or support they truly need.

✔ 1 in 7 moms experience postpartum depression
✔ 1 in 4 lack basic newborn supplies
✔ Healing can take 6 months to a year

This year, the Halo Morales Foundation is preparing Bundle of Hope Baskets for expectant moms — filled with essentials for BOTH mom and baby. 🧺💙
