Project Pengyou - University of South Florida Chapter

Project Pengyou - University of South Florida Chapter Project Pengyou is the alumni network of Obama’s 100,000 Strong Initiative & aims to be a catalyst fo Thank you for spreading the word and joining us today!

Project Pengyou is a program developed by The Golden Bridges Foundation. Our mission: Empower and mobilize a new generation of US-China bridge-builders to serve, inspire and transform lives. In 2011, Golden Bridges was invited by the US State Department to strengthen US-China people-to-people relations by building a global network of Americans with firsthand China experience. Conceived as the alum

ni network for the 100,000 Strong Initiative and seeded with funds from the Ford Foundation, Golden Bridges began to independently develop Project Pengyou to connect and build a critical mass of young Americans who can serve as bridge-builders to China. Project Pengyou's activities seek to capture the return on investment of academic exchange programs in China. Online, Project Pengyou is a social network connecting over 250 exchange groups and 3,000 members. The site provides China-focused news, jobs, events and helpful resources. Project Pengyou also organizes training and events for alumni to deepen China engagement and cultivate global leadership. www.ProjectPengyou.org
